This has been my third semester working as UVI Voice copy editor and the position has been fulfilling. I say fulfilling because I put into practice several skills I have gained throughout my college tenure. While working as copy editor, I was responsible for reviewing incoming articles for any errors in AP-style grammar and/or formatting. In addition to my duties, I reported on a three events, of which, the articles are as follows:

I have written:

Two Students vie for Board of Trustee Seat
VOICC tackles Self-Esteem Through the Performing Arts
VICCC preserves VI Cultural Heritage

 I have edited:

Other Contributions:

Aside from the editing, I began discussion with the WUVI radio station to utilize some of our content for the morning news. That way both parties benefit from added exposure. Overall, I enjoyed what I have done with the paper. I worked with a dynamic group of individuals, and I believe that anyone wishing to hone a skill at the UVI Voice, will in turn, acquire several other skills.
